Norman lives in Harare, Zimbabwe in a partly built house with his wife and two children. In one of the rooms of the house, Norman runs his workshop Improved Arts.
Norman started selling on the side of the street 15 years ago, collecting old tin cans and crafting them into beautifully formed animals.
All the materials he uses are recycled, either collected from friends and neighbors or purchased from scrap yards. His tools are some wire cutters, some pliers, a hammer and stumps of wood as work surfaces.
